About me

Daniel Firth

Editor

I’m Dan and I’m a massive photography enthusiast. I have a ridiculously broad collection of old cameras. The pride of my collection is an 1890’s half-plate camera. I’ve lately been doing a fair bit of wet plate photography.

As well as having an interest in the old ways of photography, I also shoot with my Sony mirrorless camera and (increasingly) my Huawei phone.

Shutter Nutters is a fantastic little online community connecting enthusiastic photographers like myself. Keep an eye out for my articles in the blog section!
